The unfolding climate crisis is unprecedented in importance. The future of life on earth is in the balance, and many students in Japan are unaware of the severity of the situation they are in. With this in mind, Discuss Earth has developed a 90 minute lesson plan to raise awareness of our current predicament.
It is hoped the students will take part in research at the same time to analyse the efficacy of the lesson plan. There is a short 10 question survey on Survey Monkey that students will take before and after the lesson. This survey is intended to highlight any change in level of concern, and anticipated changes in behaviour due to the lesson.
There are three levels for the lesson. A1/A2, B1/B2 and C1/C2. Teachers can download the worksheets from this page, then download the video, and also give students the link to the survey from this page.
