Humans are causing the sixth great extinction say scientists.
Scientists at Nature journal say humans are causing the sixth great extinction and it is happening as quickly as past extinctions caused by meteorites and super volcanoes. Tens of thousands of species are in danger, including 25% of mammals and 13% of birds.
The cause of this extinction is over hunting, poaching, pollution and loss of habitat.
Scientists at Nature believe we can stop this extinction by changing our diets and protecting habitats.
They say that Earth can feed 10 billion humans healthy food in 2060 and save our forests if we eat less animals and more plants.
